The King of the night was undoubtedly Justin Bieber, with five awards.
Great victory for Italy’s superb Marco Mengoni.
But let’s explore the looks we saw on stage and on the red carpet.
Starting from the beautiful Ruby Rose who, on the red carpet, showed off a black velvet and satin tailcoat with a snug fit, open-toes and a cane as a true gentlewoman. Her double braided hairstyle added a nice touch of class.
On stage, she wore a romantic strapless long dress with straight bandeau top and ample swing skirt with luminous red decorative details applied.
And that’s not all, folks. She was also spotted with a short yellow dress made with a combination of threads.
Eclectic, always incredibly stylish and super strong!
We know you’ve been wondering… has anyone stepped on stage or walked the red carpet with a fabulous pair of sneakers?
Here they are: let’s start with Kevin Prince Boateng, Tinie Tempah, and of course Pharrel Williams, the show host Ed Sheeran, Jeson Derulo, Afrojack, Josh Dun and Tyler Josep, Justin Bieber, Eric Nally, Martin Garrix and R3wire.
What’s the trend? Nothing too loud and plenty of total white and total black.
Women played it safe… what a pity!
Among the most elegant, the Italian Marco Mengoni, with a total stripes tuxedo with pinstriped blazer, trousers and shirt matched with some neat shiny Oxford shoes.
Overall, very few whims, an avalanche of black without too many frills and, of course, some totally failed outfits, such as Charli XCX’s look with her Vivienne Westwood silver dress matched with a leopard maxi-plateau.
What about you? Is there any look you particularly adored?
