Just a few days before the launch of Lunar Force 1, we want to introduce a fabulous project which has seen Nike Air Force 1 as the main protagonist.
Modla, the London based 3D-design consultancy firm has worked closely with a local artist, Damilola Odusote to design and create a three-dimensional sculpture together, taking inspiration from the famous Nike Air Force 1.
The result? An amazing piece of work.
The sneakers are the hub of the project and it is from these that this real life world takes shape.
So here is the shoe which comes to life, at the tip we can see a man, all in white, about to come down a few steps, buildings appear taking on the shape of the upper and at the top we can even see a plane.
Just like a real live chaotic city with the fabulous Nike shoe at the centre, getting it all going.
First of all Damilola Odusote created the 2D illustration and then, working with the head designer and co-founder of Modla, he transformed the drawing using a 3D software, creating a sculpture in plastic and nylon.
What can we say?… an amazing and original reinterpretation of an incredible sneaker.
