The Reebok Pump Omni Lite, is a legendary model redesigned to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Pump technology.
This shoe is absolutely revolutionary, the fruit of two Reebok patented technologies: Pump and HexRide.
Created in 1991, the Pump Omni Lite won a place in the Olympus of sneakers thanks to Dee Brown, who decided to challenge Shawn Kemp in the NBA Slam Dunk Contest, and unexpectedly chose the Pump technology of his Omni Lite just before going onto the court. He won the contest and so became part of basketball history with his shoes which, from then on, became an essential symbol of success.
The Omni Lite is actually a sneaker with more than one value-added technology. The fundamentals of this shoe are quite phenomenal.
HexRide is a cushioning system based on a honeycomb structure in the midsole, which makes the shoe extremely strong, responsive and lightweight.
Pump technology, thanks to a pump located in the tongue of the shoe, makes it possible to inflate and deflate the air chambers in the upper shoe, so that it can better adapt to the shape of the foot, ensuring a perfect fit.
An ingenious product, no doubt about it.
