This week at AW LAB we inaugurate a new section of the blog: here every Friday we will elect the sneakers or the outfit of the week.
Stay up to date on the latest news and suggestion… stay tuned!
Today, we want to open with a historic brand currently with a very strong trend; we are, of course, talking about the New Balance 430 Vintage.
New Balance dates all the way back to 1906, and was established by an English immigrant in Boston, William J. Riley who wanted to help people with foot problems. Behind the name there seems to be curious anecdote. Riley was in fact fascinated by the fact that hens are able to maintain a perfect balance relying on only three claws. The first historical three-point sole was designed to provide maximum support at the heel, and the first and last metatarsi. New Balance models are really complete but we want to offer you today a really up-to-date sneaker with the latest trends combining the vintage feel and the running shoe.
The New Balance 430 is a perfect blend of these two ingredients, a shoe that looks like something out of a running catalogue from the 80s, a retro yet very current line.
The 430 is the new addition to the Spring Classics collection, 2014, a vintage silhouette with the “old running shoe” colour proposal and an emphasis on contrast.
The colour combinations are beautiful and refined:
New Balance 430 Vintage: grey / green / orange can be found here at the AW LAB COLLECTION
New Balance 430 Vintage: black / royal blue / red can be found here at the AW LAB COLLECTION
New Balance 430 Vintage: grey / red / lime green can be found here at the AW LAB COLLECTION
And finally, here are the product features:

Logo and lettering on the heel
Carbon rubber carved outsole for added grip
See you next week!
