The amazing Tomorrowland has just finished; it is one of the biggest electronic music festivals on the planet.
It is also a very respectable festival that has really caught on so quickly and it continues to grow.
The De Schorre stage in Boom, Belgium, a huge arena created with fairy-tale scenery and fantastic characters where one can experience the performances of the biggest DJs on the international scene, high-caliber stars such as Tiesto, David Guetta, Swedish House Mafia, Carl Cox, Avicii, Martin Solveig, SvenVath, Chris Liebing, Dubfire… to name just a few.
Besides this musical blitz, the event is also characterised by a really particular setting, great decorations, fireworks, confetti, water fountains and finally intense colours that make the place even more magical.
To give you an idea of the size, remember that Tomorrowland has won numerous awards including the “Best European Festival”, “Best Belgian Summer Festival” in addition to being named as “Best Global Festival” at the IDMAs (International Dance Music Awards).
Not bad right?
The 2014 event was very distinctive; it took place over two intense weekends, the first from July 18 to 20 and the second from July 25 to 27, to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the event.
The line up this year saw many artists juggled on stage including Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Armin Van Buuren, Afrojack, Hardwell, Tiesto, Nicky Romero, Steve Angello, Avicii, Steve Aoki, Axwell, Yves V, Martin Garrix and David Guetta; the latter has somehow reached the podium of Tomorrowland where he had a two-hour solo performance on the main stage.
There was of course our own flag on stage with Benny Benassi and the emerging Promised Land and Boostedkids.
In short, it was an event not to be missed for electronic music lovers. You will be happy to know that in September there will be a sister event, so to speak, in the United States (Atlanta) called TomorrowWorld.
Remember … Tomorrowland, Key to happiness!!!
