From Spain comes the eco-friendly sneaker brand
Victoria was launched in Spain in 1915 in a small town in La Rioja, when the company’s founder, Gregorio, had the idea of creating shoes using his wife’s name. Since then, many people have chosen the Victoria brand and its shoes, especially in the 1970s and 1980s, when Victoria shoes were an essential element of Spanish fashion. Manufactured without the use of toxic products, these canvas shoes do not contain any kind of harmful or toxic substances. Victoria factories are certified by an external organisation that provides a code of conduct and social responsibility, ensuring that the shoes are made in an environment where the rights of workers are respected. All materials used in these shoes with soles made of natural rubber can be recycled and reused for different purposes. Also the soles of Victoria shoes are made with authentic natural rubber manufactured from latex extracted from trees. Natural rubber is much more resistant to heat and wear than synthetic rubber. In this way it also reveals itself to be an environmentally friendly product. The fabrics are made from 100% natural cotton, grown and processed in Spain. Natural fabrics are more fresh and breathable than synthetics, and protect the foot from bacteria.
AW LAB proposes, in its collection, the Victoria Blucher model with a wedge.
Available in materials which are more basic, such as cotton and suede, or more sophisticated and trendy, like glitter and animal print, you can find Victoria sneakers at selected AW LAB stores and online.
