Vans Color Block Style 36

Created in 1977, The Style 36 were the first Vans shoes to feature the side band. Today the Vans side stripe has become an unmistakable and instantly recognizable symbol of the brand, but at the time it was just a casual design made by founder Paul Van Doren. It also had a different name: jazz stripe.

A tribute to the model that launched an icon, the Color Block Style 36 features a classic canvas and suede upper with tone-on-tone color blocks.
