Lacoste

Tradition has it that at the end of the 1920s, the great French tennis player René Lacoste, wanted to create a sports garment which was both comfortable and functional, decided to combine the shirt with the T-shirt. The combination of these garments led to what was known as the “polo shirt”.. Following this invention, in 1933, he founded the Lacoste brand. The crocodile comes from the nickname that the press had given the tennis player. It was the first time that a visible logo appeared on a piece of clothing.

Today Lacoste is an international brand that needs no introduction. It has expanded its commercial offer exponentially even to propose truly iconic sneakers. The Lacoste style in all productions never really changes, the basis is always classic cuts and definitively refined for a casual style yet with a touch of etiquette.
