Terms & Conditions

The following terms ("General Terms and Conditions of Sale") regulate the offer and sale of products on the website en.aw-lab.com (the "Website") property of the company Compar S.p.A., based in Via A. Volta 6, 35010 Limena (PD), Italy (Registration number REA 53356 and VAT number 00362520280) (the "Company").

When placing an order, the Customer automatically accepts our General Terms and Conditions of Sale. It is advised to carefully read them before placing an order for any product on the Website.

The Company reserves the right to modify these General Terms and Conditions of Sale at any time and without prior notice. The version of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale that applies to the Customer's order is the one published on the Site at the time the order is placed.


The General Terms and Conditions of Sale regulate the offer and sale of products on the company website limitedly to the consumers. The General Terms and Conditions of Sale exclusively apply to products delivered to customers in Germany, France, Portugal, The Netherlands, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Hungary, Luxemburg, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia.


By placing an order, the Customer declares having read and agreed to the General Terms and Conditions of Sale available on the Website.

4) Order Confirmation

Each order, once placed, is subject to confirmation by the warehouse to which the shipment is assigned to according to the stock availability at that time. The shipment of the order is confirmed by an email to the customer.


For purchases for which "Standard Delivery" has been selected, goods are shipped via UPS courier at the address provided by the Customer.

For purchases for which "Delivery at a UPS Access Point" has been selected, goods are shipped via UPS courier at the UPS Access Point choosen by the Customer.

In both cases, delivery times are typically 5 working days maximum from the order confirmation date. Compar S.p.A. shall not however be responsible for any delays. Deliveries will be made only to Germany, France, Portugal, the Netherlands, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Hungary, Luxemburg, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia.

In case that the Company, for any cause or reason, does not have the product purchased by the Customer, It will receive a communication from the Company informing that it will not proceed with the shipment of the product (Notice of Cancellation). In this case, the Customer will receive an automatic refund of the amount paid (including shipping costs) in the days following receipt of the Notice of Cancellation.

In the case that the Customer has purchased several products, the unavailability of one of them shall not prevent the delivery of the other available products. In this case, the Company will only ship the product(s) available and will cancel only the unavailable product(s).

The Customer may not claim any compensation for cancellation, except for the refund of the price paid for the order or the part of the order cancelled and the delivery costs.


The Company ships products via UPS. The shipping costs are the following:

  • Standard Delivery: €10.00 for orders under €69.99; €7.00 for orders over €69.99.
    In case of Standard Delivery, it is required to provide an address where there is someone available to collect the parcel.
    If the Customer cannot have the parcel delivered to its home address, it is required to enter an address of a trustworthy person (family member, friend) or, if possible, a work address.
    When the goods are delivered, it is mandatory to check that both the parcel and company tape used to seal the parcel are in good conditions and that they have not been tampered with.
  • Delivery at a UPS Access Point: €7.00 for orders under €69.99; Free delivery for orders over €69.99.
    In case of Delivery at a UPS Access Point, it is possible to track the shipment through the tracking number on the website www.ups.com.
    In case of Delivery at a UPS Access Point, it is possible to pick up the order at the UPS Access Point chosen within 10 days from the date of delivery, by simply showing the ID Document at the time of collection.

In the case of inability of collecting the order, it is allowed to authorise someone to pick it up on behalf of the Customer. The person authorised must bring:

  • A valid ID document;
  • A written authorisation signed by the addressee of the order;
  • A photocopy of the ID document of the addressee of the order.

In the case of orders with multiple items, the order may be handled by several warehouses, meaning products may be sent in multiple shipments: the Customer will receive an email with links to track each shipment. No additional costs will be charged.

7) Prices & Payment Conditions

The sale price of the products, in Euros and VAT included, is the price in effect at the time the order is placed on the Website. Any change in the VAT rate could immediately affect the price. The price does not include shipping and handling costs. The total amount due (including any other expenditure added to the sale price, such as shipping costs) is indicated in the order summary page before the final confirmation of the order.

Payment can be made by:

  • Visa, Visa Electron and Mastercard Credit Card
  • PayPal

For payment by PayPal or credit card, the Company will use the payment system of the entity that manages the payment, which will only authorise the charge of the amount corresponding to the purchase made. With regard to the use of these means of payment, the buyer does not have to pay any charges in accordance with the applicable national legislation.

8) Security of payments

The Website adopted a protection system.

All banking details are protected with SSL encryption technology to ensure maximum confidentiality. The banking details will not be accessible by third parties on the internet.

For this reason, the Customer will have to re-enter the credit card number with each new order.

9) Right Of Withdrawal

The Customer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 30 working days of order receipt.

To proceed, the Customer must complete the dedicated online Return form, print the document that arrives with the return request confirmation email and insert it in the package upon return.

Items in their original packaging, with the original label/tag in the case of clothing and the box in the case of shoes, along with the original receipt, must be sent to:

Any other labels or barcodes on the outside of the package must be removed.

The shipment cost will be paid for by and is the responsibility of the Customer. After receiving and verifying the product's integrity, Compar S.p.A. will refund the Customer with the value of the product only. Please allow a period of up to 10 days to elapse after receipt of the returned product at the warehouse for the refund to be processed and sent.

The Company shall refund the corresponding amount through the same payment method used by the Customer at the time the order was placed.

The Company shall not refund return shipping costs.


The purchase of the product is subject to the regulations set forth in Legislative Decree no. 206/2005 (Consumer Code) on sales contracts and guarantees concerning consumer goods and/or the specific provisions of the Italian Civil Code. This warranty covers products that present conformity defects and cannot be invoked in case of negligence and/or carelessness in the use and/or maintenance of the product.

11) Applicable Law and European Dispute Resolution Procedures

Contracts are concluded in Italy and are subject to Italian law.

Please be informed that, pursuant to Article 14 of EU Regulation 524/2013 together with EU Directive 11/2013 on Alternative Dispute Resolution, the consumer may lodge a complaint or request a direct interview with the Seller by connecting to the European platform for out-of-court dispute resolution, so-called ODR (Online Dispute Resolution), accessible at the following link: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

This tool was created by the European Union for the alternative resolution of problems arising from contracts for goods and services concluded online.

12) Information on the Processing of Personal Data

Pursuant to Art. 13 of European Regulation No. 679/2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data (GDPR) and Art. 13 of Legislative Decree No. 196/2003 - Personal Data Protection Code, the following information is provided:

  • Data Processing Owner
    The Data Processing Owner of the Participant's personal data is Compar S.p.A., with registered office in Via A. Volta 6 - 35010 Limena (PD), CF and P.IVA 00362520280.
    The Data Processing Owner guarantees the strictest confidentiality in the processing of personal data, in accordance with the applicable data protection legislation.
    Specific security measures are observed to prevent loss of data, unlawful or unlicensed use and unauthorised access.
  • Purpose of the Processing
    The personal data will be processed for purposes strictly related to the purchase of the product. In particular:
    a. management and execution of the contractual relationship and related tasks;
    b. fulfilment of obligations laid down in laws, regulations, EU legislation and instructions issued by authorities and supervisory bodies.
  • Processing Recipients
    The data will not be disclosed and may be made known, to the extent necessary and for the purposes indicated, by employees and collaborators, in their capacity as Persons in charge or Managers, as well as communicated to external subjects, such as, for example, companies belonging to the Bata Group in Italy and Europe, suppliers, couriers, banking institutions and companies that process data on behalf of the Owner and which Compar S.p.A. may use within the management of the contractual relationship and the service provided or for organisational requirements of its own activity. These subjects have been appointed as Data Processors.
    The Data Processing Owner assures as of now that any transfer of data outside the EU will take place in accordance with Art. 44 ss. of the Regulation and with the applicable legal provisions by concluding, if necessary, agreements guaranteeing an adequate level of protection.
  • Type of Data Processed
    The Data Processing Owner processes the personal data required for the purchase of the product, in particular name and surname, contact data such as e-mail address and mobile phone number, home address or residence.
    The Data Processing Owner may also save cookies, as described in more detail in the Cookie Policy.
  • Means and Duration of the Processing
    The data, together with the information relating to the order, will be kept for the time necessary to provide assistance and support in the event of returns and/or to solve any problems relating to the order and, in general, for the management and execution of the contractual relationship and the related fulfilment of obligations provided for by laws, regulations, EU legislation, as well as instructions issued by authorities and supervisory bodies.
    Rights under Articles 7 of the Code and 15, 16, 17, 18, 20 and 21 of the Regulation:
    The persons to whom the personal data refer have the right at any time to obtain confirmation of the existence or otherwise of such data and confirmation as to whether or not it is being processed, to know its content and origin, to verify its accuracy or to request that it be supplemented, updated or corrected. Furthermore, they have the right to request the cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or blocking of data processed in violation of the law, as well as to oppose in any case, for legitimate reasons, their processing. Requests must be addressed to Compar S.p.A. Servizio Privacy, Via Alessandro Volta, 6 - 35010 Limena (PD), P.I. 00362520280, in the person of the Data protection officer (DPO), by sending an email to the address privacy@aw-lab.com.
    It should also be noted that the Data Subject has the right to withdraw consent at any time without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given before the revocation, subject to the consequences set out below with regard to any refusal to provide such personal data.
    The Data Subject also has the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
    The provision of data is optional. However, failure to provide the requested data may result in the impossibility of establishing or continuing the contractual relationship, in whole or in part, and of fulfilling requests for the provision of services.
13) Purchase of Products for Private Consumption

The products advertised for sale on the Company's site or through the mode are intended for private consumption. It is therefore prohibited to resell products or offer them as part of a commercial venture. The Company reserves the right to limit the total value of the Products that may be included in an Order.

14) Information

For any clarification or information request or for after-sales support, as well as for any issues concerning the right of withdrawal, goods replacement and warranty, it's possible to contact the Company by filling out the FORM.

15) General Provisions

Purchases made on en.aw-lab.com must be made exclusively by persons of legal age. The forms to exercise the right of withdrawal and for product return must be completely filled out only by persons of legal age.

16) Applicable Law

Contracts are deemed to have been agreed upon in Italy and are subject to Italian law.
