The beloved “French Blue” Air Jordan 7 Retro returns newly remastered.
The premium white tumbled leather upper is accented with French Blue, Flint Grey and University Blue.
First introduced in 1991, Tinker Hatfield designed the Air Jordan 7 to be very similar in style to the previous Air Jordan 6, but with the technology of another masterpiece of his mind, the Nike Huarache.
The inside of the shoe presents a sort of sock, a glove for guaranteed comfort and stability.
The AIR unit is there but you can’t see it and the Nike Air logo is completely missing, replaced by the Jordan writing on the tongue and two Jumpman logos on the side of the collar.
Similarly, the see-through parts in the outsole of the Air Jordan 5 and 6 are no longer there, with the shoe becoming as lightweight as possible, just like the Huarache.
The Jordan 7 is a historic model, the special edition designed for the Olympics is the only Air Jordan ever released marked 9 instead of 23, as 9 was MJ’s number during the games.
This release will of course have the number 23 on the bottom of the collar.
