Diadora MI basket camouflage, exclusive to AW LAB.
As a brand, Diadora products have always been connected to the world of sport, becoming real icons over time.
Over the years, this brand has been connected with the great names of the world of sport, and in the 1970’s Borg became the first tennis player to endorse the product.
From that moment on, more and more players began collaborating and endorsing the name. In the 1980’s the presence of this company was strengthened even more in other sports such as athletics and football. Satisfaction for sportsmen and women and the positive feedback for Diadora came quickly, for example with the record set by Francesco Moser.
In those years, numerous athletes began wearing Diadora products: Andrea Zorzi (volleyball), Senna, Prost, Lauda and Berger (motor racing), Numa and Cirioni (fencing), Francesco Damiani (boxing), Pat Cash, John Alexander and Boris Becker (tennis), Francesco Panetta and Edwin Moses (athletics) and finally Zico, Marco Tardelli, Antonio Cabrini and the Italian National team (football).A pretty good group wouldn’t you say?
Then in 1984 Olimpia Basket Milano came along and Diadora created a pair of sneakers which have now become legend, we’re talking about the fabulous MiBasket.
Over the years, this shoe has been reinterpretated and modified numerous times without ever losing its original shape, and today it is still a product which is presented yet again in the incredible Diadora Heritage line with great success.
Today we are introducing two new proposals created exclusively for the AW LAB stores.
A model for both men and women.
DiadoraMi Basket for women: leather upper, innersole in anti shock EVA foam and a compact rubber sole. Pastel colours in white and beige tones create a pleasant contrast with the camouflage inserts which go perfectly with the soft pink trim.
DiadoraMi Basket for men: the same technical characteristics and materials as used in the model for women.
This shoe however, has been designed with darker colours with the upper in a dark military green and grey with light beige trim and camouflage inserts.
