In 1895 Joseph William Foster, an English craftsman, created the first running shoes by hand. In a short time, his small family company won over many famous athletes and in 1924 they provided the footwear for athletes of the Olympic Games in Paris. In 1960, his descendants created a subsidiary called Reebok: the name comes from the South African rhebok, a very fast African antelope, and the stylised head became the symbol of the brand, still in use. Reebok footwear landed in America in 1979 at a price of about $ 60, which made them the most expensive sneaker on the market. Over the years, Reebok collections have multiplied and went on to reach several markets. We find some truly fabulous creations such as the Reebok Easytone, the “ZigTech” sneakers with the zigzag sole and the “RealFlex”, suitable for fitness in the gym or outdoors. Like all great brands, Reebok also created some collections not only addressed to sports lovers looking for technical performance but also for people who enjoy a casual and trendy style. We must not forget, among the star products, the now legendary and iconic Reebok Pump.
